About ACPLRWA

ACPLRWA “Association des Chauffeurs de Poids Lourds au Rwanda.” is a Trade Union for Heavy and long desistance/transborder Truck Drivers in Rwanda. The trade union got its legal status on November 15th, 1992 and was published in the official Gazette.

The goal for the establishment of this trade union was to enable bringing together of all drivers with the “E Category” who were employed by different employers/ business owners to have a platform of advocacy on labor rights and obligations, ensuring the security of the goods as well as establishing/recognizing the role they play towards economic growth and deployment of the country.
